SMARTPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING

This workshop is to help you discover the potential of the camera on your Smartphone.  The latest generation of phones can create amazing photos and during this workshop we will explore:

  • How and where to take the best photos
  • Tips and tricks for the best settings on your phone
  • How to enhance and improve your phone photos
  • Apps for editing
  • Photography for Instagram

It is a small group, in person workshop with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and put into practice the concepts and information covered.

The workshop is held either at the lovely co-working space The Mill House in Wooburn Green or at my home studio in Beaconsfield

5 stars! Jenny is a fountain of knowledge. It was great to learn just what I can do with my phone camera and the editing software. Very excited to try out all the tips.

Tracey, Beaconsfield

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your Smartphone Photography class just before Christmas. I am so glad it inspired me to get a new phone, and it was perfect timing as I didn’t have to read the manual after you taught me everything. It sinks in so much better when someone teaches you in person and you get to practice straight away.

BEGINNERS’ DIGITAL SLR TRAINING

If you would love to get more from your camera and learn how to get off the AUTO setting, then this could be for you  During the morning workshop we explore:

  • The importance of light and how it affects how and what you take photos of
  • Focussing … putting yourself in control (not your camera)
  • All about Aperture, shutter speed and ISO – what they are and how they impact on your images
  • Composition … some of the key guidance on how to make images appealing to the eye.

TESTIMONIALS

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this course as for me photography is currently just an interest, but it was just as informative as it was practical. I’ve had a DSLR for nearly 7 months and learnt more within the 3 hours with Jenny than I had the whole time of owning my camera! We had a few practical tasks where we put the skills we’d learnt to the test. Jenny was great at giving an informative power point and being able to give everyone help one to one as the group size was manageable. I would definitely recommend if there’s any more in the future.  We even got little goodie bags which was a nice touch! If another course appeals to me I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

I found it REALLY useful – suddenly those camera buttons aren’t so much of a mystery.  Now I just need to get out and have a go experimenting a bit. A new camera might also be heading up the wish list!

Emma, Hampshire

What an excellent workshop, I’m really looking forward to getting off ‘auto’ mode and taking control of my photos.
