I have had a number of baby photo sessions recently – always a nice idea to get some photos of the new addition to the family as early Christmas presents. Some of these baby sessions I do in the studio for a clean fresh look, but it is also nice to photograph the baby in their own home where mother and baby have all their familiar things around them and can be quite relaxed.
One of my favourite ages for photographing babies is around 7-8 months when they are sturdy enough to sit up, but not quite yet able to crawl off and cause chaos! Regular visitors to the blog may remember that I photographed baby Freddie when he was a wee newborn – well it was lovely to see him again looking quite the little boy and with a fantastic smile for my camera. Also a couple of other babies from recent sessions.
