With a studio in Beaconsfield I can offer portrait sessions come rain or shine, summer or winter, but I do also love getting out and about and finding new locations in the countryside for lifestyle shoots. Location sessions for lifestyle photography offer the opportunity to create some truly unique imagery as no shoot is ever the same and at this time of the year most of my sessions are outdoors.
Once in a while – although definitely not often enough – I manage to get out to explore potential new locations for shoots and to simply enjoy and explore photography, and remember why I got into it in the first place. Last Monday was once such day when I headed over to Mayfield Lavender Farm an organic lavender farm in Surrey. The weather was hot and sunny and the lavender was just beginning to bloom, although will be even better in a couple of weeks time when a whole second field of a different variety will be flowering in full.
